PHANTOM 800 DVI Processor

The PHANTOM 800 is an all-digital, DVI video processor that integrates seamless 8x8 DVI matrix switching, output scaling, and frame-grabs into a single unit. The Phantom 800 provides the same level of switching, scaling, and frame-grabs for any analog, SDI or HD-SDI signal source when combined with Black Diamond Video’s phantom-powered
DVI CONVERTERS, eliminating the need for multi-format switches and cables.

At the core of the PHANTOM 800 DVI processor is a seamless 8x8 DVI matrix switch with up to 8 output post-scaler image processors. Built-in auto-display detection allows any video source to be displayed on any monitor at its maximal resolution and proper aspect ratio. Individual or simultaneous frame-grabs can be performed on any input source with output frame-grab previews. Image controls include pan, zoom, position, contrast, brightness, and programmable LUTS.

The PHANTOM 800 processor creates a flexible architecture when combined with Black Diamond Video’s DVI CONVERTERS, allowing customers to use their legacy analog or SDI video sources with the ability to upgrade to DVI in the future.
